Since its inception in 1985 the TBC Vocal Ensemble has actively endeavored to share a positive message of love and hope through its unique blend of dynamic and inspirational singing.

The Ensemble is comprised of members of the Twelfth Baptist Church and form a truly diverse mix of cultures and professions including a Jamaican nurse, an Irish-American journalist/talk show host, a teacher from the American South and a Japanese Symphony Conductor and others all united by a love of singing gospel and spiritual music.

The Ensemble is currently under the direction of Jonathan Singleton, a 1989 graduate of the Berklee College of Music. He is well known in the Boston area for his work as a choral conductor, arranger, composer and keyboard player.
