| PURPOSE
The Twelfth Baptist Church Christian PreSchool provides an educational experience in a
warm, loving, and Christian atmosphere for children ages 2.9 through 6 years old.
Recognizing the importance of a balanced growth experience, our staff provides
opportunities for social intellectual, physical, and spiritual development. The PreSchool
program serves the families and children of the community. This service has grown from a
sincere love for children and a desire to help in their proper development and their
adjustment in our modern world.
Our PreSchool is equipped and staffed to give the best possible care for children whose
parents work or have commitments during the day.
STAFF
Each member of our staff meets the educational and experiential requirements of the
Office for Children and is qualified, competent, and committed to provide loving care and
understanding for each child according to his or her individual needs.
CURRICULUM
The Twelfth Baptist Church Christian PreSchool program offers a definitive curriculum
for young children. We feel that preschool can and should be more than a playtime
experience. A carefully supervised and balanced program is offered to assist the child in
his or her learning process.
1. Creative Media: Clay, Playdough, Painting, Pasting, Sand, Chalk,
and Crayons.
2. Scientific Investigation: Living things and their activities; God's
Creation.
3. Music Appreciation: Singing, Rhythms, Records.
4. Motor Development Skills: Devel oping large and small muscle
coordination, indoor and outdoor activities, games.
5. Simple Bible Stories: With personal application and prayer
participation.
LICENSE
The PreSchool is operated by the Twelfth Baptist Church and is fully
licensed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Executive Office of Human Services, Office
