"Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young,
but set an example for the believers...." 1 Timothy 4:12

We've come to praise the Name of the Lord! The Twelfth Baptist Church Youth Choir's mission is to lift up the Name of Jesus through the ministry of music.

The youth choir began in fall of 1993 providing the opportunity for young people to play an integral role in the ministry of music. Through prayer and the Grace of God the youth choir prepares to enter its 6th season of ministry here at Twelfth Baptist Church.

The gift of music knows no limits; we try to reach all audiences through our ministry. In our "archives" you will find selections from the traditional & contemporary gospel, African, Caribbean, and classical genres.

We would like to express our deepest appreciation to the parents of Youth Choir members and others who actively support the efforts of the choir. May God continue to richly bless you.

All youth choir members MUST:

Be between the ages of 13 and 23 years of age

 Participate in new members' orientation

 Consistently pay their monthly dues

Regularly attend choir rehearsals, devotion time, and singing engagements

Complete an application that is approved by the Interim Pastor of Twelfth Baptist Church.

Maintain a Christian lifestyle in & out of church that exemplifies the Biblical standards portrayed by Chris

Youth Choir members who engage in activities that could negatively impact their own spiritual growth as well as the witness and ministry of the choir, will be asked to meet with the appropriate leadership. A course of action will be prayerfully sought that will ensure / encourage repentance, restoration & continued growth for the individual and the choir.
