Our First Lady

​Dr. Devin Cromartie Bodrick, M.D., M.P.H. is a board-certified psychiatrist, faculty member at Boston University Medical Center, and a personal burnout coach whose work bridges medicine, mental health, and spiritual transformation. As BMC faculty she continues teaching and research. Clinically, she currently serves as a Psychiatrist at Talkiatry, a virtual mental health practice.

 

Dr. Cromartie Bodrick graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Howard University before earning her M.D. from Harvard Medical School and an M.P.H. from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. She then completed her Psychiatry residency and began as an attending Psychiatrist at Boston Medical Center. Her clinical and research interests include community psychiatry, trauma and stress disorders, neurodiversity, substance use disorders, and the intersections of spirituality and mental health.

 

In her private coaching services, Dr. Cromartie Bodrick supports high-achieving women of faith in overcoming burnout, reconnecting with their purpose, and building lives marked by ease, clarity, and intention. Her holistic, faith-informed approach integrates evidence-based strategies with spiritual mindfulness, helping clients thrive both personally and professionally.

 

Dr. Cromartie Bodrick is originally from Prince George’s County, Maryland. She is also a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, where she was initiated into the Alpha Chapter, and is currently a member of the Psi Omega chapter in Boston. She also serves as the First Lady of the Historic Twelfth Baptist Church in Roxbury, MA, where her husband, Rev. Dr. Willie Bodrick, II, is the Senior Pastor. Together, they are raising their son, Willie, in Boston.
